TheResolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Further Deepening Reform Comprehensively toAdvance Chinese Modernizationwhich was accepted at the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on July 18, 2024proposes improvingthe institutional mechanism forconsolidating thesense of the Chinesenation asonesinglecommunity and enhancingthe cohesion of the Chinese nation. In order to deeply study and implement General Secretaryof PRCXi Jinping's important thoughts on strengthening and improving the work of the nationalities, the Education and Teaching Seminar onconsolidating thesense of the Chinesenation asonesinglecommunity and the Unveiling Ceremony of Red Pomegranate Society for College Students of Jilin University were successfully held in Changchun, Jilin, on November 15-17, 2024.

The opening ceremony of the conference was hosted by Shao Yanmin, director of the Academic Committee ofCNNSC. Han Xiping, Deputy Secretary of theCPCCommittee of Jilin University and Chief Expert of theCNNSC, delivered a welcome speech,pointing that education, teaching and practice ofconsolidating thesense of the Chinesenation asonesinglecommunitywereclosely dependent on each other, and that this symposium, which gathersthe wisdom of experts from both inside and outside the university,isof great significance in promoting the education and teaching ofconsolidating thesense of the Chinesenation asonesinglecommunity.
Luo Kequan, Director of theCNNSCand Vice Dean of the School of Marxism, made a summary of the conference. Prof. Luo Kequan firstly expressed his sincere thanks to all the guests for their wonderful speeches, the active participation of the participants and the hard work of the staff, and pointed out thatconsolidating thesense of the Chinesenation asonesinglecommunity is an inevitable requirement for the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Every speech is full of firm belief in the educational and teaching work ofconsolidating thesense of the Chinesenation asonesinglecommunity.
