Recently, Professor Zhang Bo, an expert from Chinese Northeastern Nationality Study Center of Jilin University, published an article titledThe Generation Logic of the CPC's View on Civilizationin the 10th issue of 2024 ofSocial Sciences in China.

First of all, from the perspective of connotation and essence, the CPC's concept of civilization highlights distinct political party characteristics and ideological attributes, focusing on questions such as how the CPC promotes the development of Chinese civilization, how to handle the relationship between different civilizations, and how to promote and create a new civilization in human society. It is a concept of civilization that puts the people first, a concept of socialism, a concept of science, a concept of continuous innovation, a concept of civilization that embraces the world, and a concept of harmony without diversity.The exploration of civilization over the past hundred years under the leadership of the CPC is the practical basis for the breeding and development of the CPC's concept ofcivilization. Finally, from the perspective of system composition, as a scientific system involving various contents of civilization, the civilization concept of the Communist Party of China is rich in content, which is the embodiment of our party's insistence on theoretical innovation in the civilization concept, and can be summarized into four dimensions of civilization criticism, civilization value, civilization construction and civilization governance. The critical dimension of civilization reflects the distinctive class attribute and civilization position of the Communist Party of China.The dimension of civilization construction advocates the construction of "five in one" coordinated development of modern civilization, which is beyond the westernmodernization and civilization construction; The dimension of civilized governance integrates modern and civilized governance concepts into national governance, highlighting the humanistic advantages of civilized governance over scientific and technological governance, and contributing Chinese wisdom to global governance.
