Professor Wang Lianlong Publishes Scholarly Article Research on the Religious Beliefs and ETHNIC Integration of Goguryeo Immigrants in the Guanzhong Area during the Northern Dynasties—Focusing on Buddhist Statues

Recently, Professor Wang Lianlong,theexpertofChinese Northeastern Nationality Study Center of Jilin University,published an article titledResearch on the Religious Beliefs and Ethnic Integration of Goguryeo Immigrants in the Guanzhong Area during the Northern Dynasties—Focusing on Buddhist Statuesin Issue 1, 2024 ofReligious Studies.

The article explores the discovery of multiple Buddhist statues in the 1980s and 1990s in Yongshou, Huangling, and Yaoxian, Shaanxi Province, which were created with the involvement of Goguryeo immigrants. These findings provide critical clues to tracing the movements and activities of Goguryeo immigrants in the Guanzhong area during the Northern Dynasties.
