Professor Yang Jun Publishes Scholarly Article Population and Political Changes in the Northeast Frontier (2nd–7th Century)

Recently, Professor Yang Jun,the chiefexpertofChinese Northeastern Nationality Study Center of Jilin University, published an article titledPopulation and Political Changes in the Northeast Frontier (2nd–7th Century)in Issue 11, 2023 ofSocial Sciences Digest.

The article examines the period from the 2nd to the 7th century, a pivotal era in Chinese history characterized by the transition from unity to fragmentation and back to reunification. It was also a time of significant political upheaval in the northeast frontier.
